Tiger Woods returned this week to play in his first PGA Tour event in months, after he has missed most of the season due to his injured left knee.
Woods has won 71 PGA events in his career, including 14 major championships, but hasn’t won a tournament since he took a break from the game after revelations about his private life emerged. His last PGA Tour victory came in the 2009 BMW Championship in September 2009.
I am glad he’s back, even someone like me, that doesn’t watch PGA Tour knows how important he is in this sport.
